hi, I’m Jayda!

I’m a creative producer specializing in long-form digital and TV formats — shows built around real people and real stories without judgement.

How I got here

I got my start in unscripted development through internships at TLC, MTV, and VH1, sitting in on development meetings, devouring pitch decks and sizzle reels, and learning what really gets a show greenlit.

After graduating from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, I moved to Los Angeles for the NBC Page Program, where I broadened my experience across entertainment formats. I later joined E! Daily Pop, writing scripts, producing celebrity segments, crafting interview questions, and supporting social and digital production.

My TV Development era

After interning on the network side, I returned to unscripted television development — this time on the producer/seller side at production companies like all3media america and Super Delicious. I helped shape new formats across dating, docu-series, physical competition, and food competition, contributing to projects including Crack Addicts (TLC) and Finding Mr. Christmas (Hallmark).

Working on the production company side is where I learned the skills I still use every day: identifying standout characters, building a clear emotional engine, and developing formats that actually work on-screen.

My Digital era

I expanded into digital through my work with Jellysmack, supporting creator channels and deepening my understanding of platform behavior, audience retention, and storytelling for YouTube.

At Montclair State University, I applied that approach to multi-platform production — long-form video, editorial, and short-form — and created Popped Culture, an interview-driven series with faculty experts.

No matter the platform, my focus stayed on real people, clear structure, and honest storytelling.

My creative pov

My approach is judgment-free storytelling. I’m drawn to real people, vulnerable moments, and subcultures that are often misunderstood — and I build formats that give those stories the space to be seen clearly.

Whether I’m developing a new show, directing an interview, or shaping an episode, I care about the same thing: the honest, human truth that makes someone lean in.

where i’m headed

Today, I develop and produce long-form digital shows, original formats, and multi-platform projects built around real people and real stories. I’m especially interested in YouTube talk shows, interview series, narrative podcasts, and unscripted formats with a strong point of view.

If you’re building something with depth, heart, and a clear identity — I’d love to help shape it!
